A ballot for the election of three members to the IEEE Society on Social Implications of Technology Board of Governors was issued with a deadline of 23 October.
IEEE counted the ballots returned and confirmed that the following candidates have been elected for a three-year term (1 January 2024 – 31 December 2026):
- Jason Borenstein
- Ruth Lewis
- Ketra Schmitt
