Mission

IEEE SSIT WIE is committed to inspiring, engaging and advancing women worldwide in technology. Our goal is to empower women engineers and scientists to excel in their careers, share knowledge and shape the future of technology and society.

Goals

  • Foster Collaboration: Create opportunities for women across disciplines to connect, collaborate, and exchange ideas.
  • Promote Visibility: Showcase the contributions of women in technology and society through panels, workshops, and conferences.
  • Build Networks: Provide platforms for professional growth, mentoring, and peer-to-peer learning.
  • Encourage Leadership: Inspire and support women to take on leadership roles within IEEE and the broader engineering community.
  • Share Best Practices: Facilitate the exchange of successful strategies for engagement, diversity, and inclusion across regions and technical domains.
