IEEE SSIT is actively supporting Student Activities through a number of initiatives. New initiatives are currently under development to support SSIT Student Members and SSIT Student Chapters.
In this context the Student Activities Committee (SAC) is a sub-committee under the IEEE SSIT Chapters Committee.
A number of positions are currently open:
- Secretary – this role will support the committee administration and be responsible for coordination and correspondence across the committee.
- Leads for SAC Initiatives – SAC is preparing a number of initiatives to support Student members. Leads for each initiative will be responsible for designing, organising and improving initiatives. Initiatives under development include a Student Article Contest and Global Youth Conclave.
- Representatives for IEEE Regions – Regional Representatives will act as an ambassador to student chapters in their region and support implementation of the Student Chapter Funding Program.
If you are interesting in volunteering to serve on the SAC, please contact Saiteja Goud K, SAC Chair.
