We received this note from Joe Carvalko today:
“I watched Artemis II bolt skyward along with millions of others around the world. In its trajectory it carries with it a truth about who we are as a Species. One that projects the best side of us, the side that carries no animosities, but only motivated by our need to know more and more about the Universe in which we are a tiny part. We’re not on a new mission but one that began hundreds of thousands of years ago, and will continue so long as men and women never stop asking what and why. Our astronauts are on their way to look at the dark side of the Moon and reminded of the first time I had the honor of looking at the dark side oh so long ago.”

When America Did Something, Not Because It Was Easy But Because It Was Hard
