
Ulrike (Ulli) Gretzel is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the University of Wollongong, Australia. She received her PhD in Communications from the Institute of Communications Research at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and was a faculty member at Texas A&M University 2004-2011.
Her research focuses on persuasion in human computer-interaction and technology-mediated experiences, specifically in the tourism field. She currently also studies technological dependence and the positive and negative experiences associated with disconnecting from modern technologies.
