IEEE Fellow is a distinction reserved for IEEE members whose extraordinary accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest are deemed fitting of elevation to this prestigious membership grade. It is very selective – no more that 0.1% of the active voting IEEE members can be elevated to Fellow level in a given year.
