IEEE SSIT Symposium on “Sustainable Technologies for Health Care and Environmental Issues”

The SSIT Bangalore Chapter organised an IEEE SSIT Symposium on “Sustainable Technologies for Health Care and Environmental Issues” from 03 – 05 November at B.M.S. College of Engineering, Bangalore, India as part of SSIT’s 50th Anniversary Celebrations.
Focus
The challenges related to Health, Energy, Pollution and Climate change are deeply affecting and worrying people around the globe with increasing population. It is high time to create awareness and discuss issues to ensure a healthier planet and protection for future generations. The technological health care has an important role to secure a healthier future for humanity. At the same
time, an environmentally sustainable health system must be considered for minimizing the negative impacts on the environment by management of waste and hazardous chemicals. The global issue, is the climate change, which is mainly due to increased levels in Carbon dioxide and other pollutants which are affecting and creating impacts on the society.
The Symposium was designed to ensure the knowledge base towards technologies for Health Care and Environmental Impacts on the Society due to climate change.
