Deborah Lupton is Senior Principal Research Fellow (Professor) in the Department of Sociology and Social Policy, University of Sydney.
She is the author/co-author of 13 books, the editor of two others and approximately 130 journal articles and book chapters. Her current research is focusing on obesity politics, digital sociology and digital health technologies.
She conducts regular workshops on the use of social and other digital media for academics and blogs at ‘This Sociological Life’
