Dr Teodor Mitew is Convenor of the Digital Media & Communications Major, in the School of Social Sciences, Media & Communication, University of Wollongong. He has a PhD in Internet Studies from Curtin University of Technology and his background is in computer studies and philosophy of history.
He is currently working on examining the implications of the internet of things for sociability, subjectivity, and memory. His research interests also include Arduino, 3D printing, open source software, object oriented ontology, and the work of Gabriel Tarde and Michel Serres.
