Patricia McKenna is the founder and president of AmbientEase and serves as principal consultant and information scientist. Research and practice interests are centered around the transformative potentials of information and intelligent systems (IIS) for learning, for work, and for everyday life. Patricia is interested in the area of human-centered computing (HCC), with an emphasis on creativity, autonomy, innovation, and embedded awareness as people interact in technology-pervasive environments. Research affiliations include the Wireless Grids Innovation Testbed (WiGiT) Lab, School of Information Studies, Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York, USA.
