Anas Aloudat (MIEE’09) holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Information Systems and Technology, from the University of Wollongong, NSW, Australia (’11); a Master of Science in Computing, from the University of Technology, Sydney, NSW, Australia (’03), and a Bachelor of Science in Computing, from Mu’tah University in Karak, Jordan (’93). He is presently an Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Technology in the Department of Management Information Systems, the Faculty of Business, at the University of Jordan, and has previously been employed as an associate lecturer and research assistant at the University of Wollongong, Australia. Aloudat has published extensively in various journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings. His research interests include government informatics, the social implications of emerging technologies, social media, as well as research related to public early warning systems and location-based services.
