Advancing Sustainable Development Goals With AI

AI and data technologies’ ability to harness and interpret large and varied amounts of data shows the potential to overcome constraints that currently limit progress on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including technological capability, funding, and human resources. AI and data technologies’ interpretive capabilities can aid both public and private organizations working toward the SDGs from local to international levels. However, their deployment must be approached with caution, ensuring their benefits are maximized responsibly.
