A Conversation on Waste and Local Action
Concordia University Centre for Creative Reuse (CUCCR) is a multistakeholder initiative housed within the university’s Office of Sustainability. Here we present a conversation with the co-founders of CUCCR on the challenges, benefits, and opportunities around housing a creative reuse space. Widespread, scaled adoption of initiatives such as CUCCR could make a difference in reducing waste and, eventually, in purchasing and manufacturing and could help create or encourage more sustainable practices such as repair and repurposing.
