Petition Process Open: Nominations for SSIT Board of Governors (Members-at-Large)

On 16 September 2025, the SSIT Board of Governors approved the initial slate of Member-at-Large candidates presented by the Nominations and Appointments (N&A) Committee. It is now time for any petition candidates to be considered for inclusion on the final slate.

If you intend to run as a petition candidate, you must notify the Chair of the N&A Committee, Luis Kun, by 24 September 2025, 11:59 PM (Eastern US/Canada Time Zone) at hcii@aol.com.

To qualify for placement on the final ballot, a petition candidate must secure the support of 2% of SSIT Voting Members (approximately 29 members). The deadline to submit these signatures is 19 October 2025, 11:59 PM Eastern, through the IEEE Election platform.

Additional information regarding the next steps will be provided to the petition candidates on 25 September 2025.
