Katina Michael, founding editor-in-chief (EIC) of the IEEE Transactions on Technology and Society (IEEE TTS) posted on LinkedIn on November 14, “it gives me great pleasure to announce that our publication has been confirmed by Scopus for a 2025 CiteScore.”
Michael reported that the 2025 CiteScore will be available for the entire backfile (2020-2025) of the IEEE Transactions on Technology and Society of the IEEE Society on the Social Implications of Technology (IEEE SSIT). The last 6 volumes of TTS will be incorporated.
Michael added, “Thank you to the all the stakeholders who supported us from the outset, especially Vice President John Impagliazzo and our IEEE Managing Editor AndreAnna McLean. … To our whole editorial board who worked so hard from 2019 to peer review papers to set a benchmark for high quality interdisciplinary research trailblazing a space between STEM and non-STEM fields. To Bill Trippe and all our brilliant staff at IEEE who work so hard behind the scenes. We value you. And to Salah Hamdoun our administrator who has worked tirelessly throughout.”
After two terms as EIC, Katina Michael is shortly stepping down as Editor and new Co-EICs George Roussos and Jordan Richard Schoenherr, PhD will officially take the helm of TTS before the end of 2025.
