The first slate of candidates for 2026 Members-at-Large Election for the IEEE SSIT Board of Governors was presented to the voting members of the SSIT Board of Governors, and the deadline for any objections was midnight September 27, 2026. Since there were no objections presented, the first slate was approved as of September 28, 2026, and it consists of the following four candidates as recommended by the Nominations and Appointments Committee (in alphabetical order):
Maxine Cohen (R3)
Sagar Gujjunoori (R10)
Ketra Schmitt (R7)
Ebonee Walker (R3)
Additional eligible SSIT Member at Large candidates may now also file for consideration to appear on the Member at Large ballot as Petition Candidates. The deadline to file the declaration form with details of a self-nomination as a Petition Candidate is October 8, 2026, 11:59 pm. More information about this option can be found HERE.
