The bi-annual IEEE Region 8 flagship conference in Africa, IEEE Africon takes place this year at the GIMPA Executive Conference Centre in Accra, Ghana. IEEE Africon is Financial Co-Sponsored by IEEE Ghana Section, IEEE Society on Social Implications of Technology (SSIT) and IEEE Region 8.

Papers are invited on topics related to thematic areas of interest. These include but are not limited to Computational Intelligence, Communications Networks, Engineering and Technology for Development, Power and Energy Systems, Cloud Computing and IoT and Electrical and Electronic Systems.
