A parallel panel session will normally be 60 or 90 minutes in duration, with a moderator and 2 – 4 panelists, and a clear alignment with one or more conference themes.

Ideally it should complement, but in any case should avoid duplicating or significantly overlapping with existing confirmed plenary panels and specialist panels.

Focus of Plenary Panels

  • A Partnership Approach to Community led Sustainable Development
  • Creating Ethically Informed Standards
  • Current Challenges in Technology Policy
  • The Future of Ethical Education

Focus of Specialist Panels (parallel participatory sessions)

Presenters should propose oral contributions (each oral contribution should be described in an extended abstract of min 200 and max 300 words) which may or not be supported by a paper submission. Any such paper submissions should clearly identify the proposed panel with which it is associated.
